Casa Yolocalli means “House of the Heart” in the indigenous pre-Spanish language, and is a favorite with honeymooners and others romantic at heart.

Totally rebuilt in 2009, the new Yolocalli is constructed with colorfully sculpted concrete, wrought iron, fine tiles, and insect proof wood. It is unanimously hailed as a work of art and an example of high-style, sustainable living in the jungle.

The ocean view is framed by the roots, trunk and canopy of a huge fig tree. Perched on the hill, you view either the ocean, or the rocky canyon and waterfall. Full kitchen with sofa, table & chairs and a hammock. Flush pee toilet and compost pooper. The sturdy tarproof is carpeted with flowering fruit vines. Upstairs, the two of you will stretch out luxuriously in a king-sized bed. Even the shower has exquisite cement work.
