Casa Central
Casa Central has a large, well-equipped kitchen, three sofas, indoor and outdoor balconies. As collective space, guest tidiness is required. There is a well-stocked library, exercise balls and hula hoops. All units share a collective kitchen, living room, library, patio, lawn and fire circle. These rooms are ideal for those on a tight budget and/or wanting to meet fellow travelers.
We kept a permanent selection of Isabel’s Huichol art collection and still have many fascinating pieces for sale. A new, lush lawn is finally well established under the giant parota tree, and is no longer a campground. By summer’s end a colored cement pad (overlooking the ocean), beside the fire circle will accomodate yoga groups in the dappled shade under the parota tree.
If your group wants to rent Casa Central (with other houses or not), and needs a cook, we can accommodate.

Casa Central has four bedrooms, available separately or as a unit. All have full access to the kitchen, living room and common grounds.
The upstairs Loft has a hanging double bed, a hanging single bed and three-way view.
The downstairs Nook has a twin bed (non hanging) and patio view.
The Loft and Nook share a shower, flush pee toilet, and composting pooper. These economical offerings support Isabel’s wish that Casa Isabel be available to as many people as possible.
The new Cool Corner has a hanging queen bed (with ocean view), shower, flush pee toilet, and flush pooper. Its private balcony is ideal for sunbathing au natural.
Located away from the main house, PassionPalace has been completely rebuilt. Foot traffic patterns have been changed to increase privacy. It has a fancy bottle wall, double bed (hanging), shower, pee flush toilet, and composting pooper. A pair of lounge chairs sit on a private balcony overlooking the lawn.
We are happy to restore Casa Central to its role as central gathering place. If houses could speak, the history of Casa Central would fill our hearts with countless memories of Isabel and friends - good times, laughter, meals, conversation, education and music. It took more than a year to process the massive, mixed up mountain of junk and treasures that Isabel accumulated, but the main house has been emptied out and jazzed up, calling out for use. Yes!
